This is the clock tower in the center of Ann Arbor. You can get to this building from the Diag, it is pretty hard to miss. I chose to take a picture of this because it reminds me of the 'Top of the Park' that I go to with my friends every year during the summer. I was trying to convey how large this building is by taking pictures from the bottom of the building. I had a hard time taking pictures of the building so it would show how tall it was. Also I was trying to show the optical illusion of the building towering over you.

I took these pictures at my church that I go to every single Sunday at 9:30. My Church is the'First United Methodist' it is located downtown near the State Theatre. Every time I go to church I always admire the stained glass in all of the windows when you walk in. I have always loved stained glass because when the sun hits them it brings light in that is multiple different colors. I had a hard time taking a picture of one of the circles so I decided to take the picture and then I would crop it later so it would be square and only show that one pattern.

Angell Hall is where I took my next picture. This is Downtown to the right of the Art Museum. I Really liked the pillars and how they had curves and lines at the same time. I was trying to convey the detail that this building had with the part above the pillars ad the pillars themselves. I had a hard time taking pictures of this building because I wanted to take pictures of the close up detail and the detail from far away.

This photo is from the back of Angell Hall. I walked in that building and immediately looked up and stared at the ceiling and knew that I needed to take a couple of photos. This place means a lot to me because I found out that this is where my Dad took a lot of his classes in college. He said that he knows where almost everything is in this building. I had a hard time taking these because I wanted them to be as symmetrical as possible.

This is inside the actual Chapel of my church. In the second picture I took this above where all of the people in the choir sing. These lights look very gothic to me which is very cool and interesting. The ceilings are very high in this building so I was trying to show this. I had a hard time finding angles in this, but I think it turned out well.
