Spring |
Opening Up |
I really love these flowers. They always come up naturally every year in our front yard. There is so much contrast between the vibrant purple and the neon orange. They came up in early Spring this year, and because it was so cold they are already starting to look like they are dying. I wanted to take a picture of them before they eventually left.

Integrity |
I have never seen a flower with colors like these. The Purple turning into white and then the white turning into yellow is unreal. It almost seems unnatural. I took this picture in my backyard close to the edge because there are always patches of wildflowers back there. I love taking pictures in the spring because I can always count on there being striking flowers.
Natural |
Unfocused |
Every day when I walk home these are always sprouting up in peoples yards. I know that they are probably an invasive species but they are just so pretty. When you look at them, they make you feel calm. They have such a feeling about them. I love how they kind of sag down and lay there patiently. These always go away when we first mow the lawn so its kind of depressing.
Flow |
Bare |
These plants always look so pretty even without having any flowers. They have their own beauty. The way the flow out of the ground looks less of a plant and more of a painting. I love how each of the leaves have their own way of flowing and are a different size and length. I also think these plants are always the perfect size to take a photo of.

Out There |
These flowers are the size of my finger nail. They are so small yet have so much pattern and detail. Each individual flower is pointing a different way from the other. The color of the pedals is so striking. It is probably my favorite color ever. You can see how small the plant is from the dead leave that is set right underneath the flower.
